Actually i believe it's equally easy for them to spam some random low cost & recharge skill as well so it won't be a totally bot destroying solution. On the other hand it may lower their population a bit

I said it once (when it went over like a lead balloon) and I'll say it again (which will prolly have the same effect): We will not be free of this sort of nonsense until we have some kind of reputation system to help us sort the wheat from the chaff.

I think an inactive player should be kicked after 60 seconds. If they are truly away for a good reason it wouldn't matter to them. You could then prorate points awarded based upon team ratios to balance the scoring. I don't know how feasible this would be, but lets the remaining people have reason to keep going.

I've been doing a good bit of ABing lately... I haven't seen a single leecher in a few days. Not one.

I just started again most recently. I think I saw 1 leecher a ton of leavers. The guy could've been a leecher but with the insane lag lately I can't tell. Sometimes they start moving like 2-3 minutes into the game.

Leavers have grown from what I remembered. They're leaving at all points during the game, when we're winning, losing, just captured 2nd shrine. Again, I'm not sure if they're doing it cause of lag or what. I've seen people quit out of GW in frustration cause of the lag. I'd count myself as a leaver probably since I got disconnected twice and wasn't able to return after the second time.

Oh I forgot to mention people have been calling themselves leechers and put up searchers looking for leechers. Jokers or whatever they are I ignored them but they're there.

Easy fix...

Instead of handing out faction at the end of the battle make it so that you have to go and click on a randomly positioned NPC at the end of the match in the actual instance. When you click the npc and accept you return to town. Its not that hard to re-make the team.

In order to prevent automation make it so that the "goto feature" doesnt work. You have to walk over and actually click the npc.

I know there are "advanced" botters out there that can make GW get them a drink while they are afking, but that is not the rule.

The simplest fix is the right thing to do here.

I've seen entire guilds that seem to be devoted to leeching recently. I can understand when they don't care when a random collection of people are leeching, but when there are entire guilds devoted to leeching, it's just ignorant to do nothing.

Simple, I think Anet should implement a Master Chaff title, leachers will max this out real quick, problem solved.

from recent peeks into the dat file we know there is a Kick option coming... lets hope this will be a solution that will be worth while... Kick the leacher replace with a henchmen... Penalty on kicked leacher can not rejoin for 10 mins...
